Alanna is an AI — here’s what that means for you

Alanna’s answers are generated by artificial intelligence. When you ask a question, an AI language model reads your question, searches our curated knowledge base of Australian Taxation Office (ATO) material and Aumré’s published insights, and writes an answer with links to its sources.

What Alanna is good at

• Explaining general Australian tax concepts, thresholds and processes in plain English;

• Pointing you to the relevant ATO source so you can verify what it says;

• Giving indicative estimates — always labelled as estimates.

What Alanna does not do

• It does not give personal advice. Alanna provides general information only. It is not personal tax, financial or legal advice, is not a tax agent service provided to you personally, and does not create an accountant–client relationship.

• It is not always right. AI-generated answers can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, even with our curation and testing. Tax law also changes frequently.

• It does not lodge anything. You remain responsible for your own tax affairs and anything you lodge with the ATO.

Our safeguards

• Answers are grounded in a curated, ATO-sourced knowledge base reviewed by Aumré Financial Group and cite their sources;

• All dollar figures are labelled as estimates;
